Honoured Citizen’s status is awarded to people who have given exceptional and distinguished service to the Town and can be made by either a member of the Town Council or by any Honiton resident.

The latest nomination for this award was submitted in January 2022 and it was resolved at the Full Council meeting held on 17th January 2022 that ex-Councillor Mrs Vera Howard be awarded Honoured Citizens status for over forty years dedicated service to Honiton and the Town Council.
