Honiton Town Council support and / or run several local events in the town throughout the year. Some of these are long standing cherished traditions whilst others are newer, but no less enjoyed.

Honiton Town Events

Honiton Market Charter Day - 18 July 2026

A celebration of the granting of Honiton's Royal Charter by King Henry III in 1257, which allowed for a weekly market.

Charter day is a full day of entertainment, music, classic cars, food and drink and local stalls and vendors. Held across the High Street, Allhallows Playing Field and Northcote Lane there is something for everyone.

HTC are running Charter Day with help from Tonic Creatives, for the first time in 2026.
