 Fundraising for The Beehive Community Complex started at the beginning of 2012. As planning permission and confirmation of funding from East Devon District Council has now been confirmed, we held an official fundraising launch (The Beehive Bazaar) on Saturday 7th April. Honiton Mayor Vernon Whitlock is pictured above with supporters cutting a red ribbon to launch the fundraising. 

The Beehive Bazaar raised £336 and launched our 100 PRIZES DRAW which raised over £200 on the first day. Supportive local businesses and individuals have contributed 100 prizes (listed below) and we are planning to sell thousands of draw tickets at events all over Honiton during the next few months. The draw will be made on Saturday 11th August. Tickets are available at £1 each from the Town Council Office on New St. 

We have raised £3,440 so far and have lots more planned this year to raise the £106,000 we need. If you are able to help in any way whatsoever please get in touch. From baking cakes to staffing stalls, washing up, playing an instrument or designing a poster - there really is something everyone can do to help raise the funds we need for our very own community centre. We need your old or foreign money (coins & notes) as we can raise funds by exchanging them. We also need old clothing (bagged up and brought in before 1/6/12. ) and crocheted flowers. Terms & Conditions for House of Hair First Prize - Prize Total £800 (a years worth of hairdressing)

  1. Redeemable to only one person (no-one else is to share in any part of this prize).
  2.  Start date from date of draw for 12 months only (11/8/12 - 10/8/13).
  3. Prizewinner can not make a booking more than once every 3 weeks.
  4. Total value of hairdressing appointments must not exceed £800. 
  5. Excludes offers e.g. discounted promotions, loyalty card etc. 
  6. Can only be used twice during the 12 months for exclusive washhouse evenings.
  7. Prizewinner cannot specify a particular stylist. 
  8. This prize can not be exchanged for products, electrical items or cash. 
  9. Prizewinner must be available for promotional appointments e.g. photo's for local papers/websites.
